The Main Library maintains a reference collection of automotive repair manuals that can be requested at the 4th Floor Page Desk. Use this database to search for manuals by year, make and model. Take the resulting title list to the 4th Floor Page Desk, where staff will retrieve the manuals for in-house use.
TIPS:
- To narrow your search to Mitchell Manuals only, type ALL in the Model box.
- This database does not cover our smaller collection of circulating auto manuals. To find those, search in the online catalog.
- Mitchell’s Manuals stopped publishing print manuals in 2002. For newer automotive repair information, use the Alldata online automotive repair database available only at the Main Library.

- I.D. requirements: To take auto repair manuals from the Page Desk to consult or photocopy, you will need to leave a current California I.D, California Driver’s license, or military I.D.
