Every branch in the San Francisco Public Library System offers a selection of English language books at adult, teen and children's reading levels. Branches also offer a variety of magazines, newspapers, videos, audio books, CDs and DVDs. Materials in numerous languages are available in the children's collections. The Library’s large collection of Web resources is accessible from all branch libraries.
Excelsior Branch has a Filipiniana collection of materials by Filipino authors and about the Philippines in English and Tagalog. Additional research materials about the Filipino American experience are available in the Filipino American Center at the Main Library.
This Branch also has medium sized Spanish and Chinese language collections.
